QNX RTOS (Neutrino) is a microkernel-based Operating System of a company QNX Software Systems. This OS is aimed primarily at the embedded systems market. Although this OS is a commercial POSIX-compliant Unix-like real-time operating system, you can use on noncommercial activities it. The microkernel enables to build wide range of system - from tiny, resource-constrained systems to high-end distributed computing environments. QNX Neutrino has been ported to a number of platforms. This includes the x86 family, MIPS, PowerPC, SH-4 and the closely related family of ARM, StrongARM and xScale CPUs.

Repository of Screen Savers

This repository contains four Screen Savers for QNX RTOS 6.21. The first three Screen Savers picture turning rectangular parallelepipeds. Pictures of space are mapped on their surfaces. The last Screen Saver put 3D text "QNX RTOS" together with 3D objects.
If you want to create your own Screen Savers like as turning rectangular parallelepipeds you can use Pross.
If you want to picture own 3D text can use Title.

Title

This screen saver put 3D text together with 3D objects. You can choose text write this text to a file and then run this screen saver with option -ffile. File must contain elements which define speed, size and text. The first element is HeadTitle. It has the two attributes - speed (default 18) and size (default 3). Range of speed is one to 20. The element title define text. This element has two attributes - row1 and row2. (You may use only capital or small letters and space. ) For example:

Title write text Screen Saver on the first row and text QNX RTOS on the second row. Then write TITLE on the single row. If you do'nt set option -f then this screen saver writes out QNX RTOS.

Butterfly

This repository contains five Screen Savers for QNX RTOS 6.30. Every Screen Saver pictures the flight of butterfly. Names of this programs are butterfly1, butterfly2, butterfly3, butterfly4 and butterfly5.

Pross

You can use this utility on the creation of your own Screen Saver. Screen Saver created with this utility pictures turning rectangular parallelepiped. You must prepare one or four pictures. Those pictures would map on the walls of the rectangular parallelepiped. Maximal and minimal size of walls is 190x140 pt and 90x90 pt. This program creates required Screen Saver and stores in /usr/photon/savers.
