PhGetWeb

PhGetWeb is a download manager that accelerates your downloads by splitting the files into several parts and downloading them simultaneously. You can create a tree of links and images from your page. Then you can download this links and images. You may automatically resume broken download if your connection is lost or if your computer accidentally shuts down.

Download

If you want to download for example game www.cs.unibo.it/~pira/alienwave/alienwave-0.3.0.tar.gz must write this address into an area Address and name of local file into an area File
Then you can push button Get. The area File may be empty. The required file is downloaded by option - Directory.

Tree of links

You may create a tree of links. If you want to know links of page (for example www.openqnx.com) write this address to the area Address and push button Link.
PhGetWeb create the tree of relative links and load absolute links of page to the area Address.
You can download one or any files of tree. You mark required files and push button Get. Required files are downloaded by option - Directory. If you want to have a look an image or html-file push right button of mouse.

Options

Options enable to determine some attribute of control of PhGetWeb. For example: a proxy server, a port, a directory where are downloaded files, ...
The option Default File determines a name of a local file where is downloaded home page ( For example www.qnx.com).

The option Directory determines a name of directory where there are downloaded files. There may be names of environmental variables, names of subdirectory and '*'. If you want to download files form www.openqnx.com and this option is $HOME/web/* then PhGetWeb create a directory web/www.openqnx.com in home directory and required files are downloaded here.

The option Max. receive determines namber of parts of splitting the downloaded file. PhGetWeb uses this option where web server enables it.

Information of download are written into file, which name is in an area Log. file. This file is used to resume broken download. If it happens you run PhGetWeb and push button Get.
